The Innovation Learning Lab at IVEY Western University is a cross sector business incubator for Canada’s leading corporations pursuing new modes of innovation for a higher value future.
North is how one orients oneself when seeking direction and when things achieve greater value they are said to be heading north. Canada is an important part of the story and north can serve as a subtle reference to roots, partners and geography.
The visual identity was inspired by finding direction and maps. A set of custom North symbols were created. Layouts sit on map grid lines which provide structure, flexibility and infinite variety.
